The novel has no specific genre, I tried guessing but to no avail. I was looking for substantial story part, where characters conflict of interests pose a greater curiosity for readers. The novel is plot less, it took me to the world of Ted.

Book Review – The Adventures of Ruby Pi and the Math Girls by Tom Durwood
The Adventures of Ruby Pi and the Math Girls by Tom Durwood features 5 girls from countries like India, Russia, England, and the USA. They solve riddles, secrets, mysteries by applying basic mathematics theorems and concepts which might be not known to ordinary minds. The girls work towards saving their families from poverty, or proving their mettle of mind amidst various circumstances that could have turned into fateful episodes. Other than maths in the soul of the book, it is also a rich historical fiction. So, leaving aside the technical side of the book, one can also enjoy it for historical stories, context, and much more. Tom's impeccable narration has a style of its own, free from banality of words and boredom of jargons. The book casts a feel of suspense lingering all the time, and that’s a delightful aspect of this book.
